Nicholas meeting Daddy for the first time...

August 23, 2008

Today was another memorable day. The taxi picked us up and we were off to Semillas. We said Hola to the guard and I showed Chris and Kathy where to go. Chris walked in and I intoduced Chris to the nannies as Poppy. They were so glad to meet us both finally. I am so appreciative of the nannies Nichoals had. They love the children. You can see that.

Chris walked down the stairs and the nannies handed him to his daddy. Once again I had tears of joy running down my face. Chris was grinning from ear to ear. He just laid his head on his shoulder. I honestly believe Nicholas knew who was holding him. They bonded very quickly.

Chris fed him his lunch and we played. We played in the grass and played ball. Chris is the BEST father ever. Chris will have Nicholas on the golf course as soon as he starts walking. Nicholas is doin great adjusting to us and we owe it all to GOD....

It was also a memorable moment that Kathy met Nicholas. He bonded to her well. Nicholas is a very lovable and full of life boy. Kathy and Nicholas liked to play with the vines around the porch. Of course grandma feed him his snacks. He loved the strawberry snacks. Grandma was very happy to finally meet her grandson. THey enjoyed each other so much. Once again it brought tears to my eyes. Once again all this is in GOD's honor.

Meeting our son for the first time

August 18, 2008

This is the day I have been waiting for. The taxi picked me up at 8:45am. We drove to Semillas. I was accompanied by 3 close friends that I have met during this process. They were so sweet by taping and taking pictures of each step of the process.

We knocked on the gate and a guard let us in. I went straight to his room and there he sat on the table. The nannies were dressing him. I walked in with tears of joy streaming down my face. I held my arms out and he came right to me. It was the best feeling. To hold him in my arms was such a blessing and I owe it all to GOD. He made this happen for us.

Nicholas and I walked outside and I began to bond. We looked into each others eyes and that was the start of our life together.

As the day went on he began to cling to me. Of course I loved it. My friends who had visited before could already see a huge improvement in Nicholas. He began to smile and play with their boys. We call them the "TRIPLETS" . I love this little boy more than he will ever know.
