10 more days!!!!!

I am very happy to say we finally get to hold and meet our son. We have known him since he was 3 months old and now he is 15 months old. Its time.

The court date has not been set yet. I pray and hope while I am there living in Antigua we will have our Embassy appt. Chris will then fly down to meet us for that special moment. I am so looking foward to seeing him in action. All these months we were blessed to have pictures and videos every month but I am ready to touch and play with him.

Before Chris and I got married we both knew we wanted children. God has blessed us with a boy that is full of life. There is a poem I read today that touched me so deeply......

MY CHILD
I carried your picture with me
Since the day I received it,
And dared to love
a child I was yet to meet.

MY CHILD
I carried you in my arms at last,
and gazed in helpless wonders
at your face.
And dared to lose
my heart to you.

And now, MY CHILD,
a dream fulfilled
a prayer answered,
a family created
I have dared to become
your MOM.

And so now,
my precious child
I shall carry you home.

I hope you enjoyed the poem just as much as we did. GOD is awesome!!!!!!

The countdown begins. Tomorrow the 2nd DNA is being mailed back to the Embassy for our appointment. The end is near and the beginning of being a family is about to start.

I love you Nicholas Daniel Polinski!!!!!!!!!

So happy for ya'll!! I am so excited to know that you are so close to holding your precious little man forever! Please let us know if you need anything......and we will def. keep ya'll in our prayers. We can't for him and Wesley to meet. Adoption is so wonderful, and I hope your experience in Guatemala, is as great as ours was! Take care, and keep us posted!
